"Motorskil, the bus, with Griffin (Rick), Severson (John), and Chuck. I can't remember Chuck's last name. Brad Barrett would be able to tell you or Severson would. Chuck was a cartoonist that worked with Griffin and somehow Severson knew him and that is why he was brought as part of the project."

"It was all part of the movie, Pacific Vibrations, from 1970. On this Ranch trip it was Brad McCaul, Mike Tabeling, and Angie Reno."

Nainoa (Now) and dad, Brian Surratt (then)

"God what a talent. I just wish he would get out there more. He is an amazing kid. Brian (his dad) was a great surfer and Nainoa it comes naturally. The family. Same deal with all Brian's brothers. They are all good surfers."

"That shot was part of a project for Rip Curl. One day before I left after waiting seven weeks for Tom. Went to shoot some surf stuff in France and after weeks of waiting we got one phenomenal day at Hossegor of perfect surf. But it took seven weeks of waiting for Tom because of his schedule."
